This policy explains what happens to your information when you use this website or send an enquiry through it. Scalp Studio SMP is a small business, and the short version is that your details are used to answer your enquiry and nothing else.
Who we are
Scalp Studio SMP is operated by Kayla Rose Dedio, a sole trader in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, ABN 36 822 021 640. You can reach us at scalpstudiosmpinfo@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you fill in the enquiry form we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number, if you give one
- The treatment you are interested in
- Anything you write in the message box
You choose what to put in the message box. Please do not include detailed health or medical information there. Anything relevant to your treatment is better discussed at your consultation, where it is handled with the care it deserves.
We also receive standard technical information that any website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you viewed.
What we do with it
Your enquiry is used to contact you, answer your questions and arrange a consultation. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below, who help run the website.
Where it goes
- Netlify hosts this website and receives form submissions. A copy of each enquiry is stored in Netlify and emailed to us. Netlify's servers are located outside Australia.
- Google Gmail receives and stores the enquiry email.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser requests them from Google, which means Google receives your IP address.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives website activity through the Meta Pixel, described below.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
This site uses the Meta Pixel, a small piece of code from Meta that tells us how people find the site and whether our Facebook and Instagram advertising is working. It sets cookies in your browser and tells Meta when you view a page and when you submit an enquiry. It does not send Meta the contents of your message.
Meta may use this activity to measure and target advertising, including showing you Scalp Studio ads later.
If you would rather not be tracked this way, you can turn off ad personalisation in your Meta account settings, block or clear cookies in your browser, or use your browser's private browsing mode. None of this affects your ability to use the site or send an enquiry.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case you come back to us. If you would like yours removed sooner, just ask.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete your enquiry. Email scalpstudiosmpinfo@gmail.com and we will action it. There is no charge.
Keeping it safe
Access to enquiries is limited to Kayla. We take reasonable steps to protect your information, though no website or email system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
This website and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact us first at scalpstudiosmpinfo@gmail.com so we can put it right. You can also raise a privacy complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date at the top.
